The greatest achievement is to be completely and utterly content with just being you – all of you.
The greatest love is to be true to you – all of you and do to what is right and compassionate towards you.
From here flows all else.
To come into love you have to come into yourself
and into your self-love
and into your own.
The moments at which you come into your own are when you can love your good points, see your bad points but not get weighed down by either of them;
When you can quiet the negative voice in your head and realise that it is only a tiny part of you and not the majority of who and what you are,
When you can quiet the positive voice in your head and find only the quiet stillness of just being;
When you stop being afraid of failing and realise that that in itself is a success,
When you stop being afraid of succeeding and realise that that in itself is a failure;
When you can wonder at how complex and simple a creature you are,
When you can face both your demons and angels and realise that they are all part of you,
When you speak with truth of heart, and integrity of self
When you have at least as much compassion for yourself as you do for those you barely know,
When you find balance and quiet amid the chaos and noise of self,
That is when you come into your true self
That is when you begin to understand love.
